[00:00:00] Speaker A: One and blast off. We are on page 70 in the art scroll, top of the line. We are in The Feldheim in [00:00:15] Speaker B: 23, [00:00:16] Speaker A: page 23. Chav Gimel, third paragraph. Yauseh Amruzeh amru. We're finishing off the high, the madrega from yesterday. The high madrega of a person who has shlemus, Hadassah. So what's inspiring someone who is, I'm going to call it living a little bit more in reality, as opposed to the second one, which we're going to talk about in a second, Which is interesting, that what's going to happen is you're going to get burnt from the canopy of your friends. What does that mean? Kiyin zemitamakinu shertipo rakbechasre adas. The reason you're going to be the reason a person could be burnt from the canopy of his friend is Kamoshe echtova B', yathra, which we're going to talk about in a second. His frustration is not out of jealousy, because jealousy only is the next level. We're not talking about the person being motivated for this level. His motivation is not because of jealousy. I'll explain a second. The example I have that I say is if you have somebody, let's say, who is less capable than you or handicapped in certain areas, and you know that you are capable and more capable than that person, and that person is successful and you're not successful, it doesn't come from jealousy. It comes from the fact that you know that you didn't do what you could have done. It's not from jealousy, which we're going to talk about in a moment, but it's coming from the fact that you just know that you didn't put in the work. And I know if I would have put in the work, I would have gotten to wherever I needed to get to, but I didn't put in the work. So that's why I didn't get to where I needed to get to. So again, this first level is the inspiration that's going to bring me when I realize that if I work hard, I will get to where I get to. And if I don't work hard, I'm not going to get to where I want to get to. And when I see someone else who I know he wasn't as capable as I am, and he worked harder than me. So it's not coming from jealousy, which we're going to talk about in a second. It's coming from looking at yourself. And saying the only reason that I didn't become what I wanted to become was because it's my. I didn't put in. I didn't put. It's not coming from that. It's coming from his comparing himself to himself, saying that I know I could have done it and I didn't do it. That's the level number one. Level number two. And this is more what we might relate a little bit more to level number two. Akhla Pchusim Elate now this is perception. People live in a world of perception. Lo this is according to the honor that somebody desires. Everybody knows. In this world you could trick people. In this world, a person can go ahead and live and have perception, as he's going to say. But in the next world, the facts are going to be the facts. Whatever you did, that's what you're going to get. The person who did more is going to get more. Obviously there's quality and quantity, but you did. This is the world of action. The next world is the world of reaping and getting the fruits of your labor. In the next world, the way it works is whatever you, you'll get whatever you paid for. It's all very, very clear. In this world you could have the opposite. El yoinim lemata tachtoynem lemala. You could have it appear that someone is honorable, but you could have another guy who actually works harder than him and he's lower. That's only in this world. In the next world it doesn't work like that. This is the next inspiration that I'm going to get, that how am I going to live in this world without working on myself if I know eventually I get what I pay for, so why would I now go ahead and not work hard if eventually, as he says, I'm not going to be able to do anything about it? This is the house I'm going to get. This is the car I'm going to get. This is the eternity that I'm going to get. You have one chance in this world to make it happen. And in the next world, there's nothing you could do about it. It is what it is. They say that that's one of the first steps of Gehenna is when the lights are out and you can't do anything anymore. You're stuck. You're frozen in exactly who you are in this world. I could change who I am now. Here we go. The Ramchal says, you could have a fool. You could have a fool who says, I love this Paragraph is incredible. Why should I work so hard? I'll have a small little house in the next world. Let me be an okay guy in the next world. What do I have to be such a tzadik? Why should I work so hard for something? Maybe I'll get something in the next world. So I'll have. I'll live in an apartment in the next world. I have a little something in the next world. Why do I have to become a big tzadikbam? Zerbavur zayz. Here he goes. Thank you, Hashem for the Ramchal, because he could wake us all up. He says, I have a question that I want to ask you. One question to that thing. Okay, let me ask you a question. And in this world where it's all a little bit tricky and you could fool people, is it so easy to see someone better than you? Is it so easy for you to handle when someone else is being more successful than you? Doesn't it hurt? Doesn't it hurt when you see other people? Says. It's a very natural thing that people want to get ahead. People want to be successful, whether it's financially, whether it's in marriage, whether it's with their family, whether it's with Torah, whether it's in looks, whether it's in personality, whatever it might be. There's a natural thing that we want to be motivated and we want to get someplace. And when I see someone being successful and I'm not being successful, That's life. What are you going to do? But what happens? It kills you. It could kill you inside. However, you could make a change. Think about it. In this world where I could actually motivate myself to get higher, and still it's so painful if I don't. Could you imagine what it's going to be in the next world when there's nothing you could do about it? The guys. It's a lie. He's driving the nicer car than you. But he's depressed and he's miserable. But still you're jealous of him. It's a lie. And this he says in reality. So God's going to say, good, but right now I'm living for my life now. But in 120, I'll deal with it then. Really? Really, really. Vadai. Sorry, I'm going. More than 10 minutes. Could you imagine the pain? Listen to what he's saying. He's saying in this world where I could do something about it and I. And it. And it pains me so. Could you imagine in the next world. What's going to be. So a guy's going to say, oh, but the next world. I got time. I got time. Hare Luka. He says, that's a bad, bad answer. Bad answer. It's a deception. You're lying to yourself. He says, it's not true when you say, oh, but that's in the next world. I don't have to worry about the next world. He says, you are lying to yourself. You would not be able to seduce yourself. You wouldn't be seduced if you saw the truth. There's going to be a time where you can't change. Right now we can change. So says the Ramchal, the inspiration for all of us. The inspiration is that now I could do something about it. It's not too late. 10 minutes a day, 11 minutes, 30 seconds. I don't feel that bad. Keeps the Yetzahara away and at bay.
