[00:00:00] Speaker A: Oh, my. [00:00:32] Speaker B: Sam ram. Shaw. Sam. [00:03:38] Speaker C: Sa. [00:04:09] Speaker B: Sam. Ham Sam ra. Hal. Pa. It. Sam. Jesus. [00:09:23] Speaker A: So. [00:09:34] Speaker B: Precious. Sam. Nam. Sa. La. [00:12:30] Speaker A: Thank you, guys. Thank you. [00:12:31] Speaker B: Wow. [00:12:32] Speaker A: Thank you. [00:12:32] Speaker B: Wow. [00:12:33] Speaker A: Amazing. [00:12:34] Speaker C: Wow. [00:12:37] Speaker A: Thank you. [00:12:37] Speaker B: Thank you. Wow. [00:12:39] Speaker D: Wow. [00:12:39] Speaker C: Wow. [00:12:39] Speaker A: Thank you, ar. Thank you, donnie. Wow. For me, personally, I would keep going, but I. What can I say, right? Okay. Let's. Let's. Let's talk a little together, just to share just some. Some thoughts, some feelings, just to share a little as we continue on our journey. There's a. There's a. There's a beautiful rashi that I just want to share. Based on the posse that says Sohar ta silateva. We're with Noah. As we said yes yesterday, this is probably the most difficult thing the world is. Moloshan helam, the purpose of the world. It's like a interesting thing. If we learn Derek Hashem from the Ramchal, we can learn how Hashem created the world and how. What. What the spiritual math, so to speak, of this world. And one of the things that is so interesting about this world is we have to find Hashem. We have to find him. We have to find Hashem. As we spoke in the Yom Narayim der shra Hashem. That there are times in our life where it's easier. Shabbos on a Yomtiv. When we're sitting together, when we're singing together. Thank you, Donnie and. And Aryeh. Really, really. [00:14:37] Speaker C: Thank you. [00:14:42] Speaker A: Life is about trying to. As we said yesterday, but I can't say it enough that many times, myself included. We're waiting for that time where I'm gonna flip the switch and that's it. I'm in, it's clear, and there's no going back. It doesn't work like that. Discipline, they say discipline is remembering what you want, remembering what you want, reminding yourself of what you want. And the first step is. The first step is, what do I want? And many times, many times we don't even know, because we know. Rutzone. Rutzon, which means want. Ratzone, which means want, is molassian ruts. To run. To run. Because when I want something, I go get it. Most of the time, our challenge, myself included, is clarifying what it is that I want. What do I want? What do I want? Noah. Noah. Somehow. Somehow. Noah. Somehow. Noah, as we said yesterday, was Abel the Menuch. And I love his name. I love the name Noah. I love the letters, because is very gracious, very simple. It's not loud as the Svasema says. Stillavasser. Life to Svasemes says Stillavasir leif. Teeth still waters run deep. You don't have to be so loud to be so loud. You can in your quiet way, you know, you meet people. I was speaking to someone today. I don't think. [00:16:19] Speaker B: I don't know. [00:16:21] Speaker A: I'll say his name because I was talking to Baruch. Baruch Schuman. When you're at peace. When you're at peace. And this is where it begins. I'm going to quote from. Oh, it's like. It's almost like he heard the chair. You don't know what we're talking about. Baruch. I just gave you a shout out, Baruch. So like we said yesterday. So, so, so what am I supposed to do? How do I save myself? How does a person save himself? How do I build my mini, my mini teva, my ark? That I protect myself from things that are going to hurt me. That I protect myself. So I think there's a step that comes before that I'm going to mention from Ephraim. I don't know how many Hebrew here know a frame sendler that he made up two things that are very, very nogaya to this posse. Sohar, which means there was a kalon. There was a. A window. There's a window. There's a sohar. Sohar means like a light. As Rashi also brings in eventova a tsoar. There's a window. So one of the best. One of the best. One of. I remember him saying a frame said. He says, I remember when I was in class when I was younger and I had A, A, E, I, C. Everybody here, you have to learn. If you're in this yeshiva, you have to learn what, what that means. A A eic, some people call it. I don't know. I've heard some people say adhd. I don't know what that means. But A A EIC stands for above average energy, imagination and creativity. So someone. Someone told me once that they tell little kids that they have something called adh. I don't know. I called a, A this from A fry him A, E, I, C, which is. There's no problem. You don't have a problem. You actually have above average energy. Imagination. I put in there maybe intellect as well. And creativity. Yes. [00:18:51] Speaker D: I love you. I'm so happy that we have this. [00:18:54] Speaker A: Thank you. [00:18:55] Speaker D: Doesn't want a sidebar. [00:18:56] Speaker A: Like, it's for the. Yeah, yeah, yeah. [00:18:58] Speaker D: I've heard say this a lot and somehow just put this question in my mind. [00:19:02] Speaker A: Yes, it can wait for another time. Yeah, yeah. Go Ahead, let's see. [00:19:05] Speaker D: Do people that have a, I, A, A, eic, AIC also have a deficit in paying attention? [00:19:17] Speaker A: So that is definitely a sidebar. It's not a conversation for now. It's more of a no mic Monday. And I'm not going to answer right away because even though I have something that's brewing right in here, but because it's so strong, because it's so strong, I'm actually going to not have it jump out. A, A, E, I, C. And this is what he said. Thank you. First of all, thank you. I love you. [00:19:46] Speaker D: Yes, the coffee tastes better when you let it brew. So. [00:19:49] Speaker A: Okay, Very good. Okay, so aae I see. So this is what he said. Ready for this? I think everybody will appreciate it. He says once a teacher asked him and said, why are you. And this is. This is yosef. This is if you want to put on top of the shear on what the. What the title of the shear is. It's going to be this spacing in. So what happened? A teacher once said to him as he was looking out of the window during class. I don't know if anybody could relate. He was looking out of the window. Usually an A, E, I, C. Right. Great story, by the way. This is sidebar. I'll get back to it in a second. Aa, eic, the guy's spacing out. And Ephraim says, why are you telling me that I'm spacing out? I'm actually spacing in to that which I want to space into. Which might answer your question a little bit, but that's not for now. I'm spacing in a kalon. Ready for this? Just hit me. Or the OS or the letters of which is a window is osios, which means actually you're on to something. Something. There's actually something very beautiful going inside of you. When we look outside, as I've said many times, when I point my one finger out there, I have three pointing to myself. So we say that in a negative way, which is true. When I see something negative in someone, I actually have three pointed within me. But it also goes positive when I'm looking outside for all of the answers to my life. Maybe the answers to my life are actually chain, low lamed vav. And when I lose myself and I forget who I am and I'm not able to tap into who I am and I'm looking for validation, which we all do. Looking for validation of who I am in someone else. Noach. I believe sohartasa latava means that I Need to space in. To me, they say TSO are. Are the same letters as what? Tzara. Sarah, what does tsara mean? It means distress. It means why do I sometimes feel distressed? We call it nowadays we call it. We call it triggered. I get triggered when you're triggered, what does that mean? As Ratsim Karaba asked the question, so I suddenly, I felt within myself getting like, okay, wait, I have a quick answer. I said, yoni, relax, relax. It's too, too loud. When something is too loud, it's a. It's a. It's a sorrow, it's a distress, which if you pay attention to it, that's the godless of it. If you pay attention to it, it. It ends up being a sohar. If you wonder why I'm spacing out, and it's not that I'm spacing out, I'm actually spacing in. Then you have yourself. You're able to really check in. They say one which is delight, Shabbos. And I'll challenge everybody. I love Shabbos. If you struggle with Shabbos, if a person struggles with Shabbos, if you struggle with Shabbos, the opposite letters of one or if you switch them around are nega. If you have a wound, if you have a wound, you might have trouble enjoying Shabbos. It doesn't mean you're not connected to Shabbos. It means you might have a nega. And when you heal that nega, you're able to sit with yourself. You know why Shabbos is so difficult? For many people, Shabbos is difficult because you don't have to do anything. And it means I'm intrinsically beautiful just the way I am. Noah Shabbos is manuka, to be at peace. I don't need to drink anything to be at peace. I'm not talking about myself. I'm still working on being at peace with myself. But how does it work? It works. I don't need anything external to make me feel. Feel at peace. I want to be a person who's able to be at peace with myself. Noah I envision the noach, as we said yesterday, sitting there alone himself with his family building. 120 years. Because I know what I'm doing, I'm going to get there. It's not how fast you're going, it's what direction you're in. If you're going 55 miles per hour, you're going 75 miles per hour and you're on the 4, 4, 3, going towards Yerushalayan. You're going 4, 4, 3. You're going that way. I'll say the 95 is easier. You're going 95 south. You're going very, very fast. And you're trying to get to New York. And you're on the Verazano. Those who know. No, those who know. Those are four for three. Okay, that's a. The 443 you're going. It's not how fast you're going. It's not how fast you're going, it's what direction you are in. And what happens is. What happens is when a person doesn't have that menucha. Know what's crazy? What's crazy is when you see something. I said this. Sorry, Rabbi. You'll be Maya because. Because we were sitting today a little bit. And I love when people inspire me. Because the best thing about when other people inspire me, and I was talking about, what do they call you if they know you as Joe, what do they know you as? Joro. Joro. [00:25:46] Speaker D: Okay. [00:25:46] Speaker A: I don't call him Joro. Review to me, I told him many times, Raf. Joro. It. I want to say what One of the things that I love that people. I'll tell you one of my favorite things of that people inspire me, besides the fact that I get inspired. So actually, I feel great when someone inspires me. Besides that. What I love about when someone inspires me, I mean, this. I don't know if any of you can relate, but probably that which is most personal is most universal. So I assume you'll relate to this. What I love when I watch someone who's inspiring me, especially if I'm on, like, an airplane. I don't even know the person. I'll never see the person again. I'll never. You know, it's like. Or you're on a bus and you see something, or you see someone and you're inspired. What I love about it, besides the fact that it's great to feel inspired, is the person doesn't even know that they're inspiring you because know what they're doing? They're just doing Lamed vav. They're just doing. I'm just doing me. And the most beautiful thing in the world. Why does everyone love Rabbi Bloomberg? Why does everyone love Rabbi? Because you're just. You're just being. You're just doing you. And what. The irony of the bilbul is so funny. Isn't it interesting that the Mabul. I just want to talk this out, guys, just to learn it for a second. Mabul is From Lush and Mabul is like the opposite. It's that which is up is down. It's like. It's all loud and complicated. Noach and chain is the exact opposite of that. It's like. It's like. It's. [00:28:17] Speaker B: It's. [00:28:18] Speaker A: It's. It's easy, it's smooth. It feels right. It feels right. What? That. What? Floating on top. Very good. Straw Winter. Love you. [00:28:31] Speaker D: Love. [00:28:31] Speaker B: You [00:28:33] Speaker A: watch. Oh, you watch. You stroll. Play band. You watch a guy. You watch. You stroll. You just watch him. You watch. You watch certain people and that's what's so beautiful. And they don't even know. They don't even know you're. They don't even know that you're. You're watching them. We said that quote. What's that quote? Dance if someone can check it up. Dance like no one's. No one's watching you live. Can someone look it up? Because I love the quote, please. Sorry. Dance like no one's watching you. 25. Yes. Two more minutes, then we're doing question comments. I decided even if we'll either. We'll pause the recording so we can have a more open. I really like talking. Like I said yesterday, the Chachma information is great. It's beautiful. But we need. Bina, we need to process. We need to talk about it. We need to talk about how I can live my life. I wanna. Yeah. What is it? Well, it's slow. Slow. Thank you, Arya. Dance like nobody's watching. You know how beautiful that is? Love like you'll never be hurt. Love like you'll never be hurt. Sing like there's nobody listening. Yes. And live like it's heaven on earth. Please send that to me. Thank you. Why do I like that? I actually like the love like you'll never get hurt. What was the one after that? Sing like there's a right. Why people love singing in the shower? I have my grandson. My grandson sits in the bed. [00:29:55] Speaker B: I don't. [00:29:55] Speaker A: I'm sure I could say he's a little kid. It's a three year old kid. We all sit around when they come to my house and he goes, he's a little kid. I think it's fine that I say it. Sits in the bathroom. We're all outside and there's the window. And he's like, I'll live, babe. And we're sitting there. It's the greatest nachos in the world. The second somebody would say to him. And Ms. Sila Sharp brings us. The second someone says, oh, you're Doing a great job, great singing. What happens? Someone's watching me. Someone's watching me. The most beautiful thing to watch someone perform. To watch someone perform music. To watch someone learn. To watch a Bency Newman watch a Ben. Watch somebody watch to beat someone into. It's the most beautiful thing in the world to watch somebody be connected to himself and the marble and the world outside. I can emphasize this enough. I can't emphasize this enough. The world outside. I'm not talking about here of Bar Hashem, the moshav, the yeshiva, the King campus, the base medrash, the singing together, the bezoshem Shabbos. We're coming to Shabbos soon. This is all a hana for Shabbos. It's all a preparation for a person to be able to tap in for that one moment to tap in to the most beautiful thing, the chain as rabbeinu. Right. Those who know. Right. The first sickle. I know, I know all the would be excited. I'm talking about chain and the cane of Claudio and the chain of myself. Of each and every one of us. The beauty, the beauty that I'm not spacing out, I'm spacing in. I don't want to live my life on the out looking outside. I want to look at my life looking on the inside. Question, comments. Question, comments. We'll have five minutes and let's go. Yes, Simcha, Pause. Do I pause or keep it recording? Keep it recording. Pause. What's the vote? Pause. Raise your hand for pause. Okay. They want to go on. Go. Yes, yes, Yes. The answer is that when you're. You think you're spacing out. You think you're looking at something and it's about out. It's not I'm really looking for myself. I'm really looking. It's. It's a way for a person to be aware of what is it that I'm looking for? For. Because everything that I'm looking for is. Is. Is the. What's. When a person has. What does that mean? You ever meet someone? You can meet someone who is on the outside, is handsome, is beautiful, looks a certain way. And then you have a conversation with them. You tap in to the R and it's like, that's not what I thought. And then you could have someone that's the opposite. They might not be physically, externally. Listen, not everyone's like, you see Nitzi Sultan, who's both. Sometimes you can meet someone. Sometimes you can meet someone and you feel they're missing their chain. And you know what? It Is what the beauty is, is the beauty. And this is the irony. You know what the irony is? And myself included, this is not something that you. That now hopefully you develop yourself. We'll talk about developing yourself. The specifics of developing yourself and how to develop your chain, how to develop who you are. But one of the most beautiful things is, is that when you're. When you're able to. When a person is able to really not care. And I say this with the most sensitivity, we'll talk about chaver, chevre chaver hashem chavera. We'll go. We could hazard that over, but what does that mean? What it means is when I don't really care about my friends, about having friends, and I'm looking to do me and. And we're up to it in Missile Sharm tonight. And I invite everybody. We're up to that. Up to that parrot where he talks about that a person can be. Can be stumbled for one reason, because of friends. I got to make sure I have to friends. And it's a very natural, normal, typical, appropriate thing to want to have friends. But when I sacrifice myself, not going to start with codependence, but when I sacrifice myself to have chain in somebody else's eyes, I do the exact opposite. I end up destroying the relationship. I end up destroying myself. So hard. Yes, I did not finish the whole thing, but so are Tassa. Latava is. If you want to find the light within yourself, your surroundings, who you are, you need to look within yourself. You need to realize whatever it is that I'm looking outside, whatever is I'm experiencing, to try and bring it in to me, to me, to myself. Well, I need the Sara, I need the Nega, I need the Minia. Minias. Also the Minias. What is mini? Did they tell you in Oman, Simcha, what are the letters of Minia Shloma? How come you didn't tell him? I didn't mean to criticize you. Like that are the letters which means sweet Noah. So when you have a menia, when you have a tsara, when you have adhd and I do that like that. Maybe it's actually A, A, E, I, C, maybe my tsara. And the challenge I have with my roommate, maybe the challenge I have with my father, maybe the challenge that I have with my spouse, maybe the challenge that I have with myself is actually, if I look at it properly, [00:36:23] Speaker B: I [00:36:24] Speaker A: tap into myself and that's where the trigger becomes the treasure. Thank you. Simcha. Simcha Plotskir, everybody. One more question. Okay, Ben. Yeah. [00:36:42] Speaker C: Mentioned that when, before, not in the survey. That usually what happens is that when the guy starts to focus on himself, that's when people become attracted. [00:36:53] Speaker A: Just like Ben C. Newman. Yeah. [00:36:54] Speaker C: So why would somebody, why would somebody go out and, and avoid and not focus on themselves when they're trying to look for friends to hold on to their friends? When, if they just focus on themselves, then they get all their friends? [00:37:07] Speaker A: So, meaning, why wouldn't a person do that? Yeah, because we're human and we, we get weak. [00:37:11] Speaker C: I don't understand that. But if Ioe focus on myself and I'll have all my friends. [00:37:14] Speaker A: Right? Correct. So not everyone is. Is able. It's, It's. It's. You're asking a very good question. We're human. We're human. We're human. And we forget. And we forget. And the 8 Sahara also is very strong. The 8 Sahara doesn't want us to focus on ourselves. It doesn't want us. He wants us to worry about our friends. And again, when I say worry about our friends, worry about. As I told, as Hananya asked me yesterday, he says, oh, right. Chana is a big tsaddik. So Chanaani asked me, oh, what about Avraham Avinu? What about Avraham Avinu, who is out there helping everybody and out there extending. So know what I told them? I say this, I don't know how many years ago. Yeah, it goes gracious Noah, then Abram. You can't get to Avram until you have Noah. It doesn't start off Avram. It doesn't start off with outreach and doing that. It starts with, with inside, starts with your wife, life with your children, with your family, with yourself. That's where it begins. And I'll end off with this. We'll end off today with this. And, and I'm not saying. I'm not saying this. [00:38:19] Speaker B: Thank you. [00:38:19] Speaker A: Observe to be cliche at all. I'm not saying this to be cliche at all. I'm just saying this because I like to say things that are true. I like to say things that are true. I'm saying. I say the truth. I like to say that things are true. This stage in your life, this stage, stage in your life is a very challenging stage to be in because this is the stage where you go from dependence to independence. It's when you go from a child to an adult that you begin to build your teva. You begin to build your. Your home. Your home is beginning to be built now. You're beginning to build your home. When you're 18, 19, I mean, your whole life, but 18, 19, 20, this is the time to build who you are, to build your future. You're not going to have that many opportunities in life. You're not going to have that many opportunities in life. To be 18, 19, 20, 21, 22. To be in yeshiva, to focus on one person and one person only. And that is on you. That is on you. And the Yetzahara wants to rob you. I guarantee you from that. I guarantee you. The Yetzara wants to rob you from that, from focusing on you. Because the second you're married, the second you have children, the second you have a job that you have to answer in this yeshiva, as I say many times, Rebecca, you'll like this. I don't know if you ever heard this one. I said, it's the easiest yeshiva in the world and the hardest yeshiva in the world. It's the easiest yeshiva in the world because just do you. You don't have any achrayas to anybody but you. It's the hardest yeshiva in the world because you have to just do you. And most people are used to answering, I gotta answer to this one. I gotta answer to this one. I gotta answer to that one. And some people are comfortable in that. Not everybody's like Aaron Harel, who answers to himself. Yep, you're looking at rnrl Aaron from. From the day I met him till now, as he continues. He's dancing. He's dancing like no one's watching. What was that? What I missed? Do it. Close your eyes. You know where that story came from, by the way? I'll end off with this. The story came. We had our first alumni Shabbos many, many years ago in Lakewood. And one of the. The hebra. I was staying downstairs. We rented this house. Staying downstairs. And someone came down. He didn't know I was there. He had his ear. I don't think they had AirPods. Then he had his. You know, they had this chutzpah. There was actually a wire. A wire that he had was connected to his phone. Could you imagine? Right. So he was. He had his wife. He was dancing. He was dancing. He didn't know I was watching him. He was dancing. I was sitting there. Like I said before, the most beautiful thing is to be inspired. He didn't even know I was inspired. He didn't even know I was watching him. He's dancing and dancing. And what happened? I was, like, afraid for him to see me. He opened his eyes and then it was over. It was Over. But that story happened 10 years ago. Maybe, probably 10 years ago. It made such an impression. Because how many of us have a struggling morning to get up to daven and you're davening and you're like angry at yourself, you're davening late. How many guys are putting on tefillin in the afternoon? And someone looks and they're like, oh, I wish I got up earlier, blah, blah. And someone's looking at them saying, wow, look at that. Look at I. When I walked in this morning, I was zoicha. I walked in. I know how I was zoicha. I walked in, I see Aviad sitting there with his talus. I don't know. I don't know. Obviously. I'm sure he had big kavanas. You see now, putting on my towel. So my fill in, I'm like, wow. Wow, that's beautiful. I said it was my first Torah that I had on this. Rabbisio give me the. The makaras for this. That I said that, that, that it's a top first time I had this so clear with you. I said, it's a schus for the talus to be on his body, the tilling to be on his hand, to the fill in to be on a Yid's hand and head, to have clothing on a Yid's body. What a hashem should help us all. You're 100% right. Revzev is one of my commitments. We're talking. I have this in my. On my goal sheet. One of my commitments. What wives? Security of speech. Thank you. Thank you, [00:43:04] Speaker B: everyone. [00:43:05] Speaker A: Talking Lashanara is forbidden. Even if you would say it in the presence of the person about whom a lot of people say, it's like, oh, and I would even say this. If the guy was here with me, I would even say it to his face. That's still Lashnara. You often tell your brother that he is stingy and he doesn't even care. Nevertheless, you can't tell your friend, you know, my brother is so stingy at a. At a Sedaka event, he gives just a dollar. Although your brother doesn't care, he would nevertheless be hurt if you would tell this to others. Hashem will help each and every one of us. Light up tomorrow with today. Have an amazing first day of the rest of your life, everybody. Thank [00:43:50] Speaker B: you. [00:44:04] Speaker A: Is that like the light needs to be. You need to focus on yourself. It's not going to ruin Master of Sin for all those questions. It's not true. What about crack?
